About Raka Studio
The founders of the Studio are three brothers; Saleh Ahmed, Waleed Ahmed and Rayan Ahmed, together they initiated their journey of crafting and designing in 2018. They do not hold any formal training and predominantly have self taught themselves through the years; taking technical guidance from senior craftsmen to help educate themselves and improve their skills.
It was the fascination of crafting that pushed the three brothers to take the direction of design and crafting each piece by hand. This fascination drives their passion forward till date. They design pieces which require unconventional methods of crafting which results in each piece being unique and made differently from another.
The Artists have worked with interior designers and architects from the world over to produce commissions for hotels to private homes; great sculptural installations to individual pieces of functional art. The Artists’ skills are recognised by galleries the world over; with representation in various parts of the world and by individual collectors.
